A writer, editor, book reviewer and dreamer who is curious about the human heart and mind. I’ve worked in the publishing industry in South Africa for about 15 years, as a copy editor, content creator, writer and reviewer.
As a child, my mother nicknamed me Fiddly Dee because I’d often shut myself in her room to try on her make-up and accessories. I like to think the name came from Scarlett O’Hara’s “Fiddle-dee-dee!” line in Gone With the Wind 🙂
I’m (somewhat) less of a girly girl now, but I still love to fiddle: Here, I offer some magpie finds, read between the lines of life, and get out and about to explore my world in search of the magic in the mundane.
